As an avid toy collector I have been working my way through getting hold of the toys introduced in the new expansion BfA (498 / 557 toys, hype!).My personal favourite toys are the transformation ones as I find that they provide fun changes to your combat animations that stop you getting too bored with your chosen character’s default race. Such as toys that turn your character into another race, for example; Orb of Deception, Krastinov’s Bag of Horrors, and Jewel of Hellfire.Additionally, and perhaps more excitingly are the transformation toys that turn you into creatures that aren’t typically playable for example; Burning Defender’s Medallion (Fire revenant) and Rukhmar’s Sacred Memory (Arrakoa). As such, I have been extremely disappointed with the transformation toys that have been introduced in BFA.
This is because upon entering combat or performing a combat actions removes the toy’s appearance. I feel that this is a big shame and makes them just another toy in the collection as opposed to the transformation toys that I use regularly that are permanent albeit on a short timer. The BFA toys in question are (there may be others):Oomgut Ritual Drum (Pygmy appearance)Bad Mojo Banana (skeletal Hozen appearance)Magic Monkey Banana (Hozen appearance)Enchanted Soud Stone (Trogg appearence)Highborne Memento (Male highborn banshee appearance)It seems almost exclusively this issue is only apparent on toys introduced in BfA, why is this? And would it be possible at all to have this functionality changed to behave similar to almost every other transformation toy, i.e. Being use-able in combat?
